Movies- Toy Story 2

Toy Story 2 is an Academy-Award nominated CGI animation film, the sequel to Toy Story; the third Disney / Pixar feature film, which featured the adventures of a group of toys that come to life when humans are not around to see them. Like the first film, Toy Story 2 was produced by Pixar Animation Studios, directed by John Lasseter, Lee Unkrich and Ash Brannon, and released by Walt Disney Pictures and Buena Vista Distribution in the United States on November 26, 1999, in some parts of Australia on December 2, 1999 and the United Kingdom on 11 February 2000. The film is set for re-release in 3-D on February 10, 2010, leading up to the highly-anticipated release of Toy Story 3 on June 18, 2010.[1]

The movie keeps most of the original characters and voices from the first movie, including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Don Rickles, Jim Varney, Wallace Shawn and John Ratzenberger. They are joined by new characters voiced by Joan Cusack, Kelsey Grammer, Wayne Knight and Estelle Harris.

The primary characters are toys in the room of a nine year-old boy, Andy, and the film is mostly told from the toys' point of view. Andy, his baby sister Molly, and his mother have smaller roles, along with the neighbor boy Sid, his dog named Scud, and his sister Hannah.

In 2003, the Online Film Critics Society ranked the film as the greatest animated film of all time.[1] In 2005 the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry. In 2007, the film was ranked #99 on the American Film Institute's 10th Anniversary Edition of the 100 greatest American films of all time, one of only two animated films on the list, the other being Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Writer/director D.C. Mann channeled his obsession with cult horror films from
the 1960s and '70s with this cryptic thriller. Revisiting the gory themes of those
early works, SLAUGHTERHOUSE OF THE RISING SUN works hard to recreate a
decidedly '70s cinematic feel. Set in 1971, the film revolves around Jennifer,
an actress put into a mental hospital after several psychotic episodes run her
off the set of her latest film. Following her release, Jennifer finds herself alone
in the desert, wandering desperately until a strange group of stragglers pick
her up on the road. After making Jennifer a part of their bizarre "family," the
eccentric individuals travel to an abandoned house that is rumored to be
cursed.

The Zone is reluctant to open up its mysteries and needs to be forced to do it. It is a rare hero who can reach the very
heart of the Zone onto find out what danger awaits him there.
A danger which, compared to marauders and enemy groupings, all monsters and anomalies,
will seem a mere preparation to the meeting with something more fatal and threatening.
But for now… get ready, hero. Collect artefacts and trade, grope your path and keep an eye on the rear, catch roentgens and
fight only make sure you survive! And then, perhaps, if you are persistent and truly lucky, you will find out why all this had fallen on you.

The world
As a player you are free to explore the entire world of the Zone. No physical restrictions. No time limits. You will become
a Stalker - a cross between a mercenary and treasure seeker, who is also seen as a plunderer, a scavenger, a loner and, as food.
Your task is to locate and retrieve artifacts from anywhere within the Zone. It's a bit like picking red hot embers out of an infernal oven.
And that's the easy part. Once you've found a few artifacts, you have to find a dealer who you can trade with.

A) They're not on the High Street.
B) They don't belong to any bona fide business association.
C) They'd just as soon cut your throat as cut a deal.

Assuming you can negotiate with them, you'll walk away with some cash.
Now you can buy weapons, ammo, protective suits and other essential stuff which will
enable you to complete more onerous tasks in more inaccessible areas.
Though you work mostly alone, you can, through your behaviour, gain mutual benefits from other Stalkers.
You can meet and exchange information or trade goods. But, behave like a badass and retribution will be swift.
All your actions have consequences and will impact on the world around you. Not only that, this world exists whether you are there or not.
Time passes, the weather is notoriously changeable, anomalies assault the landscape, players and characters interact and feed off each other.
Things are never as you left them, or, how they seem. The longer you survive, the more you learn about the ways of the Zone.
You develop your skills and improve your reputation, you also find out how not to die of starvation.
With luck and intelligence you may gain the respect of other Stalkers.
However, that still leaves the military, the mutants and the unfathomable upheavals of the blowouts to contend with.
